At Gabriel’s Closet, we know that sometimes life puts parents in impossible positions—choosing between groceries, keeping the lights on, paying a bill, or buying the things their children desperately need.
No parent should ever have to make that choice.
That’s why Gabriel’s Closet exists.
We provide children and teens with clothing, shoes, coats, school essentials, and other necessities at NO cost to families facing financial difficulties throughout Ogemaw County and surrounding communities.
And now, our mission is growing.
Introducing
The Parent’s Pantry
Because the financial pressure doesn’t begin when a child starts school—it can begin the moment a baby enters the world.
The Parent’s Pantry provides new and growing families with essential baby items such as diapers, wipes, hats, mittens, swaddles, cribs, bouncers, and other necessities.
We want new parents to spend less time worrying about “How am I going to afford this?” and more time enjoying the little moments that go by far too quickly.
A clean outfit can give a child confidence.
A warm coat can keep them comfortable.
A box of diapers can mean one less thing for a struggling parent to worry about.
A crib can give a baby a safe place to sleep.
And sometimes, a helping hand is exactly what a family needs to get through a difficult season.
We believe asking for help shouldn’t come with shame. Receiving help shouldn’t come with judgment. And being able to provide for your children shouldn’t depend on how much money is in your bank account.
That is why we are here.
